Exhibition Catalogues for Something New Must Turn Up  (2021)

Client: National Gallery Singapore

This joint exhibition explored the diverse artistic practices of six post-independence Singaporean artists. I was the project editor for two of the artists’ catalogues — CHNG SEOK TIN: Drawn through a Press and ENG TOW – the sixth sense. These books can be purchased at The Gallery Store here and here.  

Creating The Bicentennial Experience: Behind the Scenes of Singapore’s Hit History Production  (2020)

Client: Singapore Bicentennial Office

The Bicentennial Experience was the multimedia centrepiece of the Singapore Bicentennial. I was part of the writing team that put together an all-access, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the conception and production of this unforgettable experiential history. The Bicentennial Experience Guide (2019)

Client: Singapore Bicentennial Office

The Bicentennial Experience was the multimedia centrepiece of the Singapore Bicentennial. I was part of the writing team that wrote its accompanying guide, which provided interesting historical trivia to accompany the experience. 

In an Instant: Polaroid at the Intersection of Art & Technology  (2018)

Client: National Museum of Singapore

This special exhibition chronicled the story of Polaroid photography and explored its impact on instant photography and social media instantaneity today. I was involved in the conceptualisation, scripting and editing of its video installations featuring local influencers. 

Merli (2018)

Singapore Tourism Board

I helped Singapore Tourism Board (STB) develop a character bible for Merli, their kid-friendly version of the iconic Merlion. This helped them with subsequent branding efforts featuring this character. 

Witness to War (2017)

Client: National Museum of Singapore

This special exhibition commemorated the 75th anniversary of the fall of Singapore during World War Two. I was involved in the research and scriptwriting of this exhibition’s multimedia interactives, including interviewing war survivors. 

I Remember the Fall of Singapore (2017)

Client: M’GO Films

This documentary, which was aired on CNA, charted the Japanese invasion of Singapore. I was the researcher for this production, which included interviewing war survivors and compiling archival photographs and AV footage for this show.
