A Brief Review of 2016

2016review

I’m writing this post and I’m thinking about Seasons of Love. This song really nailed the question swimming at the back of my head: how do you measure a year?

As fast as 2016 sped by (I realise my last post was in September – eeps!), it also felt like a very wide year. Somehow, I feel like I was in a very different place just 12 months ago.

I finished my “personal project” (the Squirky picture book series) during the first half of the year so the past few months have really been about how to have a sustainable workload (in terms of finances and time). I don’t quite have all the answers yet, but for now, it’s most probably back to a more streamlined scope with hopefully regular spurts in creative writing.
