I decided that when I went into full-time freelance writing/editing earlier this year, I had to overcome the fear of revealing my own voice. The Politics of Work
Last weekend marked the completion of one of the projects I've been working on these past couple of months. It was the opening of Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYSNMH), and I helped with the media content of this revamped heritage site. I love history, I love interesting characters and I love dramatic stories. Strangers in the Park
This was a challenging article. For one, my husband and I embarked on this trip to Taman Negara knowing that we weren't really of the National Geographic calibre. There wasn't going to be scaling of tumultuous mountains or cuddling of orang utans. The only possible story angle based on our limitations was to truthfully position us as urban wussies.
